Nicholas Santavas

Nicholas Santavas has worked in various roles in the technology sector since 2019. Nicholas began their career as a Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Democritus University of Thrace. In 2020, they joined KIMO as a Research and Development Engineer and Computer Vision Engineer. In 2021, they were a Data Scientist at G42. Currently, they are a Deep Learning Engineer at Axelera AI. Throughout their career, Nicholas has used various technologies such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Faiss, Redis, MongoDB, Docker, Apache Beam, Google Dataflow, App Engine, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, TensorRT, Darknet YOLO, Tesseract, and GCP Compute Engine.

Nicholas Santavas has a Doctor of Philosophy degree from Democritus University of Thrace (D.U.Th.) in Computer Vision, Human-Computer Interaction, and Neural Networks, which they are currently pursuing. In 2020, they attended the Machine Learning Summer School at the University of Oxford. Nicholas also holds a Master of Engineering degree from D.U.Th. in Production and Management Engineering, which they earned between 2010 and 2018.
