Jose Simo

Jose Simo has extensive experience in supply chain management. Jose is currently working at Axplora as the Director of Global Supply Chain, where they are responsible for aligning and integrating various supply chain processes. Prior to this, they worked at Stada Arzneimittel AG as the Director of Supply Chain Europe and Global Director of Demand, overseeing the strategic, tactical, and operational plans to optimize supply chain results. Jose also worked at Novartis, where they held multiple roles including Head of Supply Chain Excellence and Production Sites, and Head of Supply Chain Operations. In these positions, they focused on delivering high supply chain performance while ensuring compliance and regulatory standards. Earlier in their career, Jose worked at Dufry AG as the Group Supply Chain Director, and at Sanofi-Aventis as a Supply Chain Manager. Jose began their career at WR Grace as a Customer Service Manager, where they played a key role in improving delivery performance and reducing inventory levels. Overall, Jose Simo has a wealth of experience in supply chain management and has successfully led various teams and projects throughout their career.

Jose Simo obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from UPC School (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) from 1984 to 1989. Jose then pursued an MBA in Suppy Chain and Operations from ICIL (UPC, Barcelona) between 1990 and 1992.
