Global VP Strategy, Insights & Analytics at Bacardi

Brenda Fiala has a diverse and extensive work experience. Brenda started their career as a Strategist at Diageo in 1998 and worked there until 2004. Brenda then founded RedBlack Consulting, where they provided leadership consulting and designed innovative strategies for large companies. Brenda joined Blast Radius - Wunderman in 2010 as a VP of Strategy before moving to Wunderman as the SVP of Strategy from 2012 to 2014. Subsequently, they held various roles at Wunderman, including EVP Global Strategy and EVP, Team Lead and Personalized Marketing. In 2016, Brenda joined Bacardi as the Global VP Strategy, Insights & Analytics, where they focused on identifying growth opportunities and leading insight and data analytics teams. In 2020, they became a Founding Member of Women Leaders In Data & AI (WLDA), a network for women leaders in the field. Brenda also has teaching experience at the University of Minnesota, where they lectured and developed new academic programs.

Brenda Fiala has a diverse education history. Brenda earned a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1990. Following that, they pursued further education at Caltech, where they obtained an M.S. in Chemistry from 1990 to 1992. Brenda continued their academic journey at the University of Minnesota, completing their PhD in Human Development from 1994 to 1997. In 2018 to 2020, Brenda attended Harvard Business School for Executive Education in an undisclosed degree program. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy" from MIT Sloan School of Management in 2020.
