Raghu Nandan Gurram

Raghu Nandan Gurram has extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Raghu Nandan currently works as a Scientist in Downstream Process Development at Bavarian Nordic. Prior to this, they worked at Emergent BioSolutions as a Scientist in Downstream Process Development. Before that, they held positions at Catalent Pharma Solutions as a Supervisor in Downstream cGMP Biomanufacturing and as a Senior Associate-II in Downstream cGMP Biomanufacturing.

Earlier in their career, Raghu Nandan Gurram worked as a Sr. R&D Scientist at Attis Innovations, LLC, and as a Process Development Scientist at American Science and Technology Corp. Raghu Nandan also gained experience in the academic sector, working as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, where they focused on biofuel production from coffee pulp. Additionally, they served as a Fermentation Specialist at Cobalt Biofuels and a Research Associate at Cobalt Technologies, where they conducted studies related to bio-butanol production and heat transfer fouling.

Raghu Nandan graduated from this institution in 2007. Following this, they enrolled at South Dakota Mines in 2007, simultaneously pursuing both a Master's and a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering. Raghu Nandan completed their Master's degree in 2009 and continued their studies at South Dakota Mines until 2013, obtaining their PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering.
