Joy Dixon, MPH

Joy Dixon, MPH has worked in various roles in the healthcare field since 2011. In 2011, they began their career as an HIV/AIDS Prevention Education Administrator at the Florida Department of Education. In 2012, they took on the role of Health Communications and Policy Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as Program Manager at the American Lung Association. In 2015, they became the Health Systems Manager, Primary Care at the American Cancer Society, where they were responsible for evaluation and continuous quality improvement, utilizing the Model for Improvement and other quality improvement methods. In 2018, Joy was appointed National Program Director at the New Leaders Council. In 2019, they began working at BellXcel as the Director of Partner Success and Assistant Director, Partner Impact. Finally, Joy has been the Founder of Order Up Vegan (formerly Edenic Wellness) since 2008.

Joy Dixon, MPH obtained their Bachelor's degree in Health Care Management from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University between 2004 and 2008. Joy then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Public Health from the same institution, which they completed between 2009 and 2012. In May 2014, Joy Dixon, MPH obtained their Worksite Wellness Program Manager certification from the National Wellness Institute.
