Role Overview:

The Project Manager is a critical role within our agency, designed for an experienced professional adept at overseeing and leading the successful completion of a variety of initiatives including but not limited to digital marketing, strategic communications, and public relations. This individual is responsible for steering complex, multi-faceted projects from conception through to completion, ensuring they align with client goals, are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Acting as a bridge between clients, the internal PR and digital teams, and external partners, this role demands a critical thinking problem solver with a proven track record in managing diverse projects. Expertise in project management methodologies, coupled with a deep understanding of the digital marketing and PR landscape, is essential. Effective communication skills and the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts are key to this role's success.

Responsibilities:

  • . Lead and manage internal teams to deliver comprehensive, multi-faceted projects that may include any mix of owned, earned or paid media that meets client objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, encompassing all phases of project execution from initiation to closure, ensuring clarity and accountability across teams.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and external vendors, ensuring expectations are managed and relationships are strengthened.
  • Oversee the financial aspects of projects, including budget creation, monitoring, and adjustment, to maximize resource efficiency and manage scope creep. 
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and decision-making processes, ensuring clear communication and documentation of progress, challenges, and outcomes.
  • Proactively identify project risks and issues, employing advanced problem-solving skills to address and mitigate potential impacts swiftly.
  • Champion the delivery of projects that not only meet but exceed client expectations, through meticulous planning, creative problem-solving, and exceptional execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically within the fields of digital marketing and public relations, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Certification in Project Management is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and PR deliverables and associated processes,, tools, and platforms, including social media, content marketing, SEO, and digital analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams to achieve high performance and meet project deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the aptitude to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. Experience with Teamwork is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed strategic decisions to benefit project outcomes.
  • Financial acumen to manage budgets, forecast project expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a forward-thinking mindset.
  • Experience in client relationship management and a customer-focused approach.

Compensation

  • Job Type: Full-time Employee
  • Annual Salary: $60,000 - $70,000/year
