Mark Hughes

Mark Hughes has held various roles in the field of sales and marketing over the past two decades. Mark began their career in 2001 as Director of European Operations at Silicon Genetics before becoming Director at Genetic Factors in 2003. In 2007, they moved to GeneGo as Director of European Operations, and then to Accelrys as Senior Product Manager Biological Sciences in 2009. In 2010, they became Director of Northern European Business at Genomatix, and then Senior Product Manager at Thomson Reuters in 2013. In 2018, they took on multiple roles at GenomeScan, including Director Business Development Pharma, Director Of Business Development, and Business Development Pharma, Europe. In 2020, they joined EPAM Systems as Director, Business Development and Biorelate Ltd. as Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Head Of Business Development.

Mark Hughes obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Genetics from the University of Liverpool between 1991 and 1998.
