Jim Schlies

Jim Schlies is a seasoned programmer and technical leader with extensive experience in software development and architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Programmer at Blackboard since 2009, Jim has spearheaded the creation of Mosaic, a CMS that generates mobile and web-based applications utilized by over 1000 university campuses for student engagement. Prior to this, Jim held various roles, including Chief Architect and Programmer at Live Nation, and Technical roles at Yahoo! and Quokka Sports. Jim's technical foundation is supported by a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, earned between 1982 and 1987.
