Job Description:

The Senior Finance Manager is a leadership role, where you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities and strategies of an organization. You will provide financial guidance, support to senior management, and play a critical role in decision-making processes. You will be responsible to keep a check on financial health and stability of the company by managing financial operations, analyzing financial data, and implementing effective financial policies and procedures. While overseeing activities and delivery, you will ensure alignment within the department and business-wide vision and strategies.

Responsibilities:

Business Acumen & Leadership:

  • Understand the business goals, industry trends, and market demands to guide financial decisions that align with our strategic vision
  • Develop a clear roadmap and financial strategy that supports both immediate goals and long-term business growth

Operations Management:

  • Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
  • Design and implement efficient revenue & cost model, ensuring optimal resource allocation and alignment with commercial goals
  • Design and implement efficient and scalable financial processes to drive operational excellence and support business growth
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping and reporting
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure activities
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets

Team Building and Development:

  • Lead a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team through periods of change and transformation.
  • Foster a high-performance culture and promote continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and drive financial excellence.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance and accounting.

Must haves:

  • Proficiency in managing financial operation of the company which includes Budgeting, Forecasting, Treasury Management, Audit & other statutory Compliance
  • Experience in vetting of Legal Contracts & Agreements
  • Proven experience in the identifying areas of cost optimization & revenue enhancement
  • Experience in Corporate Tax Management & Planning, Assessment & Appeals.
  • Technology savvy with experience in selecting and overseeing software installations and managing relationships with software vendors; advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software
  • Proven experience (typically 7-8 years) in progressively responsible finance roles, including managerial experience.
  • Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles, regulations, and best practices.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in working with MNCs preferably in service industry
  • Knowledge of Data Protection regulations (GDPR / IDTA)
  • Business Valuation and M&A Advisory
  • Experience in financial due diligence

Qualifications:

  • CA is a must, Any additional professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, MBA) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and advanced MS Excel skills.
