Tanya Sethi

Tanya Sethi has a diverse work experience in various organizations. In their current role at Blueprint, they serve as the Associate Director since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Manager, Evidence Generation from June 2021 to January 2023. Before joining Blueprint, Tanya worked at AidData as a Senior Policy Analyst from September 2017 to February 2021. During their time at AidData, they managed the Listening to Leaders program and led collaborative research projects. Tanya also served as a Policy Specialist from August 2015 to August 2017 at AidData, where they communicated research findings, led dissemination efforts, and contributed to grant proposals. Tanya has also worked at Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) as a Senior Policy Associate from September 2013 to November 2014. In this role, they led evaluation projects, presented research findings to policymakers, and conducted capacity-building activities. Additionally, Tanya has previous experience at OECD - OCDE as a Summer Intern/Consultant in 2012 and at Economic and Political Weekly as an Assistant Editor from June 2009 to August 2011. At Economic and Political Weekly, they reviewed and edited research papers, published editorials, and conducted workshops on research writing and publication.

Tanya Sethi has a Master's Degree in Public Policy from Université de Paris School of Economics, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Masters in Economics from the University of Hyderabad between 2007 and 2009. Tanya also holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Delhi University, which they achieved from 2004 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Tanya has obtained several certifications, including "Editing Mastery: How to Edit Writing to Perfection" from LinkedIn in March 2020, "Questionnaire Design for Social Surveys" from Coursera in February 2020, "Data Collection: Online, Telephone and Face-to-face" from Coursera in October 2019, and "Framework for Data Collection and Analysis" from Coursera in August 2019.
