Matthew King

Matthew King is an experienced sport scientist currently working at Brentford Football Club since July 2014, where responsibilities include the collection and analysis of first team GPS and physical performance data. Prior to this role, Matthew held positions at Exeter City Football Club, including Assistant First Team Analyst and Head of Academy Analysis, where analytical support and match analysis for youth teams were provided. Matthew’s early career involved coaching at the Okehampton Community Recreation Association, contributing to the development of sports skills among young people and adults. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Performance Analysis from Middlesex University and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) (Hons) in Sport Science from the University of Gloucestershire.
