Kara O'Leary has extensive work experience in various roles focused on talent management, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness. Kara'smost recent position was as the Vice President of Talent & Engagement at Butler/Till, where they led talent acquisition and engagement initiatives. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Employee Experience and Talent Management at the same company.

Before joining Butler/Till, Kara worked at Resolution Agency as the US Lead for People & Culture, where they oversaw HR operations and supported the development of a positive work culture.

Earlier in their career, Kara served as a Senior Consultant at Changing Our World, Inc., a national consulting firm that supports non-profits, foundations, and corporations in achieving their philanthropic objectives. Kara also held the position of Vice President of Programs at Junior Achievement of New York, where they led a team and developed educational programs.

Kara's diverse background also includes roles at Putnam Investments as a Human Resources Manager and Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP as a Legal Assistant.

Kara O'Leary obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Clinical & Social Psychology from the University of Rochester in 1998. Kara then pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, from 2002 to 2004. In terms of additional certifications, Kara obtained the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP certifications from SHRM in 2017. Kara is currently in progress to obtain the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certification from the International Coach Federation, expected to be completed in Spring 2020. Kara also holds a Certificate in Management Practices from NYU School of Professional Studies.
