Maintenance Engineering Team Lead at Canon Production Printing

Marco van Hout has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Marco began their career at TNO Science and Industry in 1998, where they worked as a Project Manager. Their responsibilities included initiating and managing projects within the Light Weight Construction group. During their time there, they successfully managed an industrial innovation project and oversaw the realization of a pilot scale test facility.

In 2006, Marco joined Scheuten Solar as a Process Engineer. Their main focus was on the process development of absorber formation step for the production of CIS solar cells. Marco was responsible for defining Design of Experiments, conducting Factory and Site Acceptance Tests, leading improvement teams, and creating procedures and instructions.

In 2011, Marco moved to Canon Production Printing, where they held various roles. Marco started as an Equipment Engineer and eventually became an Equipment Engineering Team Lead. Marco then transitioned to the role of Production Engineer and finally became the Maintenance Engineering Team Lead.

Throughout their career, Marco has demonstrated their expertise in project management, process development, and team leadership. Marco has a strong background in the renewable energy and manufacturing industries.

Marco van Hout earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 1992 to 1996.
