Philip Glasner

Philip Glasner has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Philip currently holds the position of Head of Program & Project Management at ZEISS Group since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Data Management & Analytics Officer at ZEISS Group from August 2020 to September 2022. In the academic field, Philip worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at both the University of Vienna and the WU Executive Academy. At the University of Vienna, they held the role of Adjunct Lecturer from August 2011 onwards and also worked as a Teaching Assistant from February 2008 to July 2011. At the WU Executive Academy, they served as an Adjunct Lecturer from September 2020 to August 2023. Additionally, Philip has worked as a Senior Solutions Consultant at SynerGIS Informationssysteme GmbH from July 2015 to July 2020. Before that, they held the positions of Head of Support & Training Esri from October 2012 to June 2015 and Support & Training Esri from July 2011 to September 2012 at the same company. Furthermore, Philip's experience includes working as a Research Scientist at Z_GIS - Department of Geoinformatics, University of Salzburg from October 2013 to March 2015.

Philip Glasner holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Digital Transformation & Data Science from WU Executive Academy, which they obtained from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned a Dr. degree in Applied Geoinformatics & Predictive Crime Analytics from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg, spanning from 2013 to 2018. Philip also obtained a Mag. degree (equivalent to MSc) in Cartography & GIS, Demography from the University of Vienna, completed from 2005 to 2011. Additionally, Philip has acquired several certifications, including Certified Business Data Manager from Controller Institut Vienna in 2022 and Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2021. Philip has also obtained certifications in various fields such as change management, spatial data science, machine learning, and crime analysis.
