Amel Cuskovic

Amel Cuskovic, PHR has a comprehensive background in Human Resources, with experience in various leadership roles. They recently joined Carter Machinery as the Director of Compensation and Benefits. Prior to this, they served as the AVP of HR & Compensation at Radford University, where they provided strategic guidance and developed compensation strategies. Amel also worked at Virginia Tech for several years, first as a Human Resources Director, where they optimized HR service delivery, and later as a Human Resources Manager, handling talent acquisition, employee relations, and compensation programs.

Amel Cuskovic, PHR holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Richmond. They also completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree at Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition, Amel holds an International Business Management Certificate from Virginia Commonwealth University, which was obtained in 2006. Amel has also obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in June 2011.
