Venkat Vyza

Venkat Vyza has an extensive work experience history. Venkat started their career at Nortel Networks in 2006, where they worked in R&D for CVOIP and Advanced Applications. During their time there, they improved quality and effectiveness, developed diagnostic tools, and transitioned the engineering development process to an agile model. In 2008, Vyza moved to Avaya, where they served as Global Product Support and was responsible for end-to-end technical support globally. Venkat successfully integrated Avaya and Nortel Support processes and achieved a 10% productivity improvement target. In 2011, Vyza joined ARRIS (formerly Motorola Home Solutions) as the Director of R&D Dream Gallery & Secure Media. Venkat directed the framework design of a cloud-based video navigation software suite and streamlined internal and external processes. In 2014, Vyza joined tekVizion as the Senior Vice President of R&D and Operations. Venkat oversaw engineering and global operations, developed cloud-based enterprise automation suites, and led strategic product planning. In 2018, Vyza joined Globetouch as the Vice President of Engineering and Operations, where they continued to leverage their expertise in managing operations and engineering. Currently, Vyza is serving as the Vice President of Delivery and Operations at Casa Systems, Inc. Overall, Vyza has a strong background in R&D, operations, and engineering, with a focus on improving efficiency and product quality.

Venkat Vyza holds a Master's degree in Finance, General from The University of Texas at Dallas, which was earned between 1996 and 2000. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, from 1988 to 1989. Venkat Vyza completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 1983 to 1987.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Venkat Vyza has obtained several certifications related to Amazon Web Services (AWS). In 2018, they acquired the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification and the AWS Certified Developer - Associate (DVA) certification. Venkat also obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification in the same year.
