Richard Kofmehl

Richard Kofmehl, CPA, CIA, CISA has a diverse and extensive work experience. Richard is currently serving as the Director of Internal Audit at Central Plateau Cleanup Company since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Corporate Audit Executive and Ethics & Compliance Officer at Washington River Protection Solutions from July 2014 onwards. From 2006 to 2014, they held the position of Senior Manager Corporate Audit at Boeing. Before that, they served as the Group Manager at Jefferson Wells from May 2004 to April 2006, where they were responsible for delivering business solutions to fortune 500 companies. Richard also played a crucial role in the consolidation of Boeing Commercial Credit Corporation with McDonnell Douglas Finance Corporation, managing $9 Billion in assets. Richard began their career in 1992 at Public Accounting and Advisory Services as the SR Manager Public Accounting/Audit/Advisory Services, where they worked until April 2004.

Richard Kofmehl completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central Washington University. Richard also holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Technology from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business. In terms of certifications, Richard obtained certifications from ISACA and The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc., as well as certification from the Washington State Board of Accountancy.
