Thomas Gehrig

Thomas Gehrig is a distinguished academic in the field of finance, currently serving as Universitätsprofessor at Universität Wien since 2010 and holding the position of Research Associate at the Systemic Risk Centre since 2017. Gehrig is also a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research and a member of the Market Microstructure Research Group at the National Bureau of Economic Research. In addition to teaching various courses at the Vienna Graduate School of Finance, Gehrig has held multiple visiting positions at prestigious institutions such as The London School of Economics and Political Science and the Bank of Finland. Gehrig's academic contributions include founding the Integrated Master Program at the University of Freiburg, where notable research projects have been conducted.
