Jason Allen

Jason Allen has a diverse work experience, starting in 2016 with a university placement at West Yorkshire Finding Independence, where they provided support and advocacy to individuals dealing with drug and alcohol issues. In 2016, they also worked as an Activity Instructor/Group Leader at PGL Travel and as a Grocery Assistant at Tesco.

From 2017 to 2020, Jason worked as a Freelance Video Editor for various projects as a self-employed individual. In 2017, they also served as an Assistant Manager at Barnardo's.

In 2017, Jason participated in The Network 2017 Talent Scheme Delegate, gaining experience in TV production skills and serving as the Director/Vision Mixer for The Network LIVE 2017. Jason also had the opportunity to work with prominent figures in the industry, such as the producers of Black Mirror.

From 2015 to 2020, Jason worked as a Producer/Youtube Channel Manager for their own venture, Jason's TV Guide, where they managed content creation for a YouTube channel.

Jason joined Sky in 2018, starting as a Junior Producer and then becoming a Video Editor for the YouTube channel "101 Facts." In this role, they edited and released weekly videos, performed research on topics, and utilized their knowledge of SEO and metadata.

In 2020, Jason worked as a YouTube Channel Manager at Banijay UK, and later in the same year, they joined Channel 4 as a Digital Video Editor, eventually becoming the Lead Video Editor.

Jason Allen attended The University of Huddersfield from 2011 to 2015, but did not complete a degree or specify a field of study.
