Aleksej Irinich (AMIMechE) has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Aleksej currently serves as the Vehicle Engineering Lead at CHARGE CARS since May 2022. Additionally, they gained experience at Millbrook Proving Ground Ltd from 2013 to 2015 as a Design Release Engineer and Vehicle Design Engineer, where they focused on exterior plastics and lights for the Vauxhall/Opel Vivaro project.

Furthermore, they had a part-time role at Loughborough University Students' Union as a Venue Staff member from 2012 to 2013, where they provided excellent customer service.

Their early career started at Loughborough University, where they served as a Formula Student Technical and Administrative Assistant from 2010 to 2011. In this role, they contributed to the research and design of carbon fibre monocoques and rear uprights for the next generation Formula Student Performance vehicle.
