Sameer Chaturvedi

Sameer Chaturvedi has held various leadership roles in the technology industry. Sameer is currently the Head of Corporate Engineering, Business Technology at Checkr, Inc., where they lead and scales the Corporate Engineering, Business Applications, and Business Intelligence teams.

Prior to their current role, Sameer was the Head of Transformation, Commerce Platform at Atlassian, where they played a pivotal role in developing and delivering complex business and technology platforms, specifically the next-generation Commerce platform.

Before Atlassian, Sameer worked at Veritas Technologies LLC, where they held multiple roles, including Head of IT, Business Applications, Data & Platforms. In this position, they built and led a geographically diverse team and implemented various initiatives such as ASC 606 compliance, GDPR compliance, and establishing an in-house IT application maintenance and support team in India to achieve cost savings.

Earlier in their career, Sameer was a Practice Leader at Infosys Limited, where they managed a $100M Fortune 1000 hi-tech and manufacturing Oracle engagement client portfolio. Sameer also worked as a Consultant/Senior Consultant, overseeing the delivery of the ERP portfolio in the quote-to-cash process area for Cisco Systems.

Sameer started their career at Dusk Valley Technologies, a start-up organization, where they worked as an Associate Consultant, developing a product for the Property & Casualty Insurance market.

Sameer began their career as an IT Analyst at TCS.

Sameer Chaturvedi completed their education at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they have also pursued various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Some of the certifications they have obtained include "Designing Strategy" from IDEO U in April 2023, "EXECUTIVE PRESENCE AND INFLUENCE: PERSUASIVE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT" from The Wharton School in November 2022, "Berkeley Fintech: Frameworks, Applications, and Strategies" from UC Berkeley Executive Education in February 2022, "Artificial Intelligence: Business Strategies and Applications" from UC Berkeley Executive Education in August 2020, "Data Science Foundations: Fundamentals" from LinkedIn in January 2020, and "Digital Strategies for Business: Leading Next Generation Enterprise" from Columbia Business School in November 2018.
