Alexandra Carr, CMgr, FCMI has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alexandra currently works at CIPD as the Head of Branch Community Development, leading the Branch Development team and overseeing strategic planning and implementation for UK and international development. Additionally, they serve as the CIPD Community Lead, taking responsibility for the 52 CIPD Branches and 800 HR/Learning & Development community and volunteer network.

Prior to their current role, Alexandra held the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the British Accreditation Council where they were responsible for strategic planning, business development, and growth of further and higher educational institute accreditation and membership.

Alexandra also worked at CIPD as the Centre Development Manager, overseeing development initiatives, and at CYQ/YMCA Awards, where they served as the Business Development and Accreditation Manager, External Quality Assurance Verifier & Inspector, and Approvals and Verification Liaison.

Earlier in their career, Alexandra worked at Action UK as a Fitness Health and Wellbeing Presenter, delivering a range of health, fitness, and wellbeing education topics and classes. Alexandra also worked at YMCAfit as the Course Learning Director, where they were responsible for leadership, teaching, learning, and delivery of full qualification requirements to learner cohorts.

From 2016 to 2018, Alexandra obtained the CMI Level 7 Certificate in Strategic Management & Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute.

In 2015, Alexandra attended QA Ltd and earned a certification in Prince 2, focusing on Project Management.
