The Sr. Graphic Designer/Production Artist’s primary responsibility is to efficiently and effectively independently translate client needs to conceptualize, create, and produce a broad range of advertising and marketing collateral that meets or exceeds agency and client expectations. This position serves as support to the creative studio managers and may serve as brand steward on specified clients or brands.

  • Independently provides day-to-day support to our service organization that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company

  • Develops offline and online visual solutions for a broad range of materials aimed at a variety of professional and consumer audiences

  • Creates fresh, intelligent, and intriguing design solutions that meet or exceed client and agency expectations, standards, and guidelines

  • Assists in maintaining the consistency of brands across all marketing materials, strategic recommendations, tactical planning and creative problem-solving to further dept goals, objectives, efficiencies.

  • Researches and gain an understanding of the client’s business/products

  • Uses effective presentation skills internally and externally to market ideas

  • Self-starter who is comfortable with gathering all the information as needed to take on assignments

  • Partners with the Copy, Art, Strategy teams and Production Managers to design and produce a variety of print and digital projects from initial layout to file prep to proof/testing stage to final delivery of materials to vendors and/or clients

  • Ensures layouts meet all regulatory and other compliance requirements

  • Ensures files and documents are set up to produce correctly, as well as proper delivery to client systems or vendors

  • Works with vendors as necessary

  • Informs and tracks estimates, budgets, and timelines as required

  • Recommends improvements to software, tools, and processes that will aid in creative quality and eliminate inefficiencies

  • May oversee the work of junior and freelance staff

  • Keeps up-to-date on skills, client, and industry trends

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (or equivalent experience)

  • Several years of experience in creating designs in digital, print, and/or motion graphics

  • Excellent communication, decision-making, problem-solving, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Self-starter who is comfortable with gathering all information as needed to take on assignments

  • Established success as a Graphic Designer as evidenced by an exceptional portfolio that includes outstanding designs and development

  • Understanding and proper execution of printing and production processes; web and digital production knowledge

  • Knowledge of the latest digital and interactive technologies, as well as an understanding of different digital channels and social platforms, functionality, and UX/UI requirements

  • Strong design skills, understanding of design principals, and the ability to provide creative visual solutions

  • Knowledge of Mac and PC operating systems and industry standard software

  • Flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Learn new methods, techniques, skills, and software as required to further knowledge and expertise

  • Proactive, self-motivated, well organized, a team player, who serves as a resource to others, and makes recommendations to the management team.

  • Agency and/or pharmaceutical/healthcare experience

  • Experience and growing knowledge of UI and UX principles and tools

  • Professional certifications in a related field
