Charles Ciano has extensive work experience in grant management, finance, and program operations. Charles began their career in 2004 as an intern at Warner Music Group. From there, they worked as an assistant house manager at Broadway Across America. In 2006, they joined the Massachusetts Service Alliance as a program operations officer and later became a program officer. In 2010, they became a grants administrator at YouthBuild USA and then transitioned to a financial grants manager role at Citizen Schools. From 2013 to 2016, they worked at YouthBuild USA as a financial grants manager and later as a senior financial grants manager for YouthBuild International. In 2016, they joined the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as a grant management officer. Most recently, Charles served as the finance director at City Year and is currently the vice president of grant compliance and strategy for the same organization.
Charles Ciano received a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Drexel University in 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Master's degree in Human Services from Northeastern University in 2010. Their Bachelor's degree in Integrated Marketing Communications was earned from Emerson College in 2006.
