Adam De Sola Pool

Partner at Clean Energy Venture Group

Adam de Sola Pool has been a founder of clean energy companies in central Europe and now is a mentor and investor in cleantech companies in the New England area. Adam helped to found over 20 clean energy (wind, PV, biogas, heating, ESCO et al) and water companies in Poland, Romania and other central European countries. Among these was the largest on-shore wind park in Europe of 600 MW located in Fantanele Romania. Adam was also the Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland Energy and Environment Committee. For his work in sustainability and investment, Adam was awarded the Cleantech Pioneer Award of 2006. Adam was educated at Shady Hill in Cambridge MA, Phillips Academy at Andover, the University of Chicago and the MIT Sloan School.
