Dr Mustafa Ghafouri

Dr Mustafa Ghafouri has worked in a variety of roles in the healthcare and data science fields since 2015. Dr Mustafa began their career as a Health Care Assistant at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. In 2016, they took on a Sponsored Project in Data Science at AstraZeneca. In 2017, they joined Hitachi Europe as a Data Scientist, where they focused on healthcare and clinical applications. In 2020, they became the Manager of the Data Science Lead for the Hospital Digital Control Centre at Hitachi Vantara. In 2021, they joined Capgemini as a Senior AI Engineer and Data Scientist, then Databricks as a Solution Architect and Health and Life Sciences SME. Dr Mustafa is currently the Director at Doctor Data LTD and the Chief Data Scientist and Solution Architect at CloudKubed.

Dr Mustafa Ghafouri's education history includes completing A-levels in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) at Lancaster University, and a Data Science for Research in Health and Biomedicine at the University College London and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Dr Mustafa also has additional certifications including Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals, Azure Data Scientist Associate, Azure Fundamentals, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and Good Clinical Practice.
