David Cox

David Cox has a diverse work experience. David is currently working at Cocoon, starting in October 2021 as a Payroll Operations employee, then moving up to Payroll Operations Lead in September 2022, and currently holds the position of Payroll Operations Manager from March 2023. David also worked as the Chief of Staff at Deluxe Queer starting in September 2022.

In addition, David has experience in tax management at Thompson Tax & Associates, LLC, where they worked as a Tax Manager from June 2021 to October 2021, and as a Tax Analyst from December 2019 to June 2021.

Prior to that, they worked at State Street, starting in October 2013. David held various roles, including Core Operations Senior Associate from April 2018 to December 2019, Reconciliation Analyst Associate 2 from April 2016 to April 2018, and Reconciliation Specialist Associate 1 from October 2013 to April 2016. In these positions, they managed deployment projects, enhanced reconciliation software, and improved team performance.

Before joining State Street, David worked at Anime Resource Group as an Accounts Payable and Budgets Liaison from March 2013 to June 2015. David handled financial matters for events and ensured payments were made within budget.

In 2012, they served as the Vice President of Finance for Alpha Kappa Psi at UC Santa Cruz. David established financial structures and forged partnerships with local businesses for volunteer projects and fundraising events.

David Cox attended American River College from 2007 to 2009. This is the only information available about their education during that time period. David later attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2010 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Management Economics.
