Job Title: Associate Director, Full-Stack Developer

Department: Information Technology

Reports To: Vice President, Web Development

FLSA Code: Exempt

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $130,000

 

Job Summary:

Cohen and Steers is currently seeking a highly motivated, full-stack C# and Angular programmer to join our Information Technology department. The individual will be part of the development team that works primarily with web applications both on-premise and Azure, solves complex problems, and develops custom software solutions. Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Development of web-based solutions to allow users to import and export data from our strategic platforms.
  • Development of service-based solutions to integrate between different platforms, including services hosted in Azure.
  • Development of applications utilizing Azure App Services (PaaS), Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric
  • Working with developers and other IT members in identifying and proposing application system changes, enhancements, or troubleshooting issues.
  • Responsible for supporting business users, investigating, and resolving application errors, data discrepancies and queries.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the Information Technology field
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience with C#, .NET, Typescript (Angular/React), and SQL Server in a similar financial services environment.
  • Experience developing application solutions through all phases of the application lifecycle from initial requirements gathering to ongoing enhancements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong client service skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of end users to help develop sustainable business solutions that address user requirements.
  • Ability to work with users and managers to prioritize tasks.
  • Proven vendor management skills.
  • Financial product knowledge, specifically index benchmark creation, portfolio analytics and security pricing sources.
  • Demonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives.

Beneficial Skills:

  • Experience with Microservices
  • Experience with Azure Services
  • Experience of using job scheduling software (JAMS, ActiveBatch, AutoSys or equivalent).
  • Experience with data retrieval APIs.
  • Experience with KendoUI
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (CI/CD)
  • Experience with ETL and Python libraries.
  • Technical writing and documentation proficiency.
