Thomas Knell has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Thomas began their career in 1993 at Mars, where they worked in marketing, sales, and point of sales roles until 1995. In 1994, they briefly worked at the Gallup Institute Dr. Karmasin GmbH, mainly conducting market and opinion research. From 1997 to 1998, they worked as a tutor at the University of Vienna. In 1999, they joined Trust Consult as a senior consultant, a position they held until 2005. In 2005, they started their journey at Constantia Flexibles, where they held various roles such as Supply Chain Manager, Head of Supply Chain Management, Corporate Sales Coordinator, Global Key Account Manager, and Vice President Supply Chain. Currently, Thomas Knell is the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain at Constantia Flexibles, a position they have held since April 2019.

Thomas Knell earned a Master's degree in International Business from the University of Vienna from 1993 to 1998. In 1998, they pursued a course in International Economics at UCLA. In 2008 to 2009, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Supply Chain Management from the Universität für Weiterbildung Krems. Additionally, in 1997 to 1998, they studied International Economics at Hawaii Pacific University.
