Sam Koplewicz is a highly experienced policy advisor and advocate, currently serving as an Advisor on Policy & Planning in the Office of the President at the International Rescue Committee since December 2022. Koplewicz is also a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations since June 2021 and previously held the position of Director of Voter Protection for the Florida Democratic Party from July 2021 to November 2022. Other significant roles include Deputy Finance Director for Shaun Donovan's NYC campaign, Regional Voter Protection Director for Biden for President, and Policy and Advocacy Adviser for Oxfam's Syria Crisis Response Team. Koplewicz has academic experience as a Visiting Professor at the University of Zagreb and served as a Satter Fellow with Human Rights Watch. Koplewicz holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Brown University.
