Ian Laird

Ian Laird has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Ian is currently employed as a Principal Engineer at Cradlepoint, where they started in November 2020. Previously, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Cradlepoint from November 2019 to November 2020. Before joining Cradlepoint, Ian worked at Velma.com as a Software Engineer from January 2016 to November 2019. Prior to that, they held various roles at Skytrace, Inc., including Software Development Director from October 2014 to January 2016 and Senior Software Developer from September 2013 to October 2014. Ian also gained experience at Dell, where they worked as a Metrics & Reporting Advisor from July 2013 to September 2013 and as a Sr Metrics and Reporting Analyst from May 2009 to July 2013. Throughout their career, Ian has demonstrated their expertise in software development, team management, and metric design and implementation.

Ian Laird attended the Kentucky Advanced Technical Institute from 2002 to 2004, where they pursued a vocational degree in Computer and Information Technologies. In July 2022, they obtained the certification "Java 17 Essential Training: Objects and APIs" from LinkedIn.
