Shekeba Ahmadi is an experienced professional in the fields of peacebuilding, development cooperation, and women's rights advocacy. Currently serving as a Project Assistant for the Women in Peacemaking program at the Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation, Shekeba previously held roles at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland as Advisor for Development Cooperation and Civil Society Adviser. With experience as Program Coordinator at Women for Justice Organisation Afghanistan and Research Officer for The Liaison Office, Shekeba has contributed to various initiatives focused on legal research, civil society inclusion, and project monitoring. Educationally, Shekeba holds a Master's degree in Peace, Mediation and Conflict Research from Tampere University and a Bachelor's degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from Asian University for Women.
