Hardik Shah has a diverse work experience across various companies. Hardik started their career as an IT Solutions Executive at Marks and Spencer in 2003. Hardik then worked as a Digital Channels Manager at Royal Mail from 2007 to 2010. After that, they became a Digital Customer Experience Manager at British Gas, where they managed strategic projects to optimize the customer experience. In 2012, they joined Sky as a Senior Digital Experience Lead, where they managed large-scale digital projects to improve the customer experience. Hardik also worked as a Senior Manager of Digital Customer Experience at comparethemarket.com, where they created digital propositions to align with business strategies and consumer needs. At Barclays, they held various roles, including Head of Digital Product for Cards, Payments & FX, and VP of Digital Propositions. In these roles, they developed new products and services, implemented initiatives like Apple Pay tokenization, and launched an Open Banking strategy. Currently, they are the Group Head of Product at Currencies Direct, responsible for product and proposition development, design, analytics, and product public relations.

Hardik Shah completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Business Systems Analysis and Design from City, University of London, starting in 2006 and finishing in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business IT from the University of Westminster, studying from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Hardik Shah also obtained a certification called the Barclays Digital Driving Licence from City & Guilds in November 2015.
