Kelly Hurst

Kelly Hurst has a diverse work experience with roles in accounting, operations management, and administration. Their most recent position was as a Staff Accountant at Customer.io, starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they co-owned and managed operations at Hurst Transport LLC since August 2020. From September 2011 to June 2022, they worked as a Deputy Clerk/Treasurer at the City of Black River Falls. Kelly also served as an Account Clerk at Citizens Accounting from January 2010 to September 2011, and as a Secretary/Bookkeeper at Gaier Construction Corporation from May 2007 to January 2010.

Kelly Hurst has a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, which they obtained in 2022. Prior to that, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay from 2017 to 2020, focusing on the Clerk-Treasurer Institute. In 2010, Kelly completed an Associate degree in Accounting from Western Technical College.

Additionally, Kelly has obtained several certifications throughout their education and career. In 2022, they completed the "Intro to QBO for Accountants Part 1 & 2" training from Intuit QuickBooks Training by Real World Training. In the same year, they also completed a course on "Product Management: Customer Development" from LinkedIn. In 2021, Kelly became a Certified Municipal Treasurer of Wisconsin (CMTW) through the Municipal Treasurers Association of Wisconsin Inc. In 2020, they obtained the Wisconsin Certified Municipal Clerk (WCMC) certification from the Wisconsin Municipal Clerks Association. In 2007, Kelly became a Notary Public in the State of Wisconsin.
