Shreyas Kumar

Shreyas Kumar is an Associate in the Legal and Compliance department at The D. E. Shaw Group, where employment began in July 2021, following a previous internship at the same company in 2020. Prior to this role, Shreyas served as a Research Assistant in the Departments of Politics and Economics at Princeton University from 2019 to 2021, collaborating with Professors Kris Ramsay and Stephen Redding. Additional academic experience includes a research assistant position at Harvard Business School in 2019 under Professor Laura Alfaro and an investigative internship at the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands in 2016. Shreyas Kumar holds an A.B. in Politics with honors from Princeton University.
