Edward M. Rauen Jr.

Edward M. Rauen Jr. has an extensive work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Currently, they serve as the Chief Development Officer at the Dan Beard Council, Boy Scouts of America, a position they started in August 2021. Alongside this role, they also hold the position of President at EMR Advisory, where they have been since March 2021.

Prior to their current positions, Rauen served as an Adjunct Professor at Mount St. Joseph University, starting in January 2021. Additionally, they were a Member of the Alumni Fundraising Advisory Board at the university, a voluntary role they took on in November 2020.

Rauen's involvement in the non-profit sector includes their role as Associate Director of Development at the American Cancer Society from March 2021 to August 2021. Edward M. has also held various positions at the National MS Society, including President of the Michigan, Ohio Buckeye, and Ohio Valley Chapters from April 2017 to November 2020. Before that, they served as Chapter President, Interim Chapter Manager, Executive Vice President, Vice President of Development, and Director of Development at different times from August 2006 to May 2014.

Early in their career, Rauen worked as a Senior Event Marketing Representative at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital from September 2004 to July 2006. Prior to that, they served as a Leadership Consultant at Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity from June 2004 to June 2006.

Edward M. Rauen Jr. obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Cincinnati, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Edward M. then went on to complete their Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) from Mount St. Joseph University, from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Rauen also obtained a certification in "Creating Psychological Safety for Diverse Teams" from LinkedIn in March 2021.
