Elise Michell

Elise Michell has a strong background in mechanical engineering. Elise started their career at DAPR Engineering, LLC as a Mechanical Engineer 1, where they designed and built custom automation and OEM products. Elise also worked on electromechanical and robotic designs for high-speed and high-quality part production. Elise then transitioned to Raytheon Technologies as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they focused on verifying parts met specifications and worked on improving manufacturing and inspection capabilities. At Hasbro, they served as a Design Engineering Co-op, where they designed and tested new mechanisms and managed projects with vendors overseas. Elise also gained research experience as a Teaching Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they taught students how to use machinery safely and analyzed the mechanical properties of polymer nanocomposites. Additionally, they worked on various projects at the Center for Automation Technologies and Systems (CATS) and Specialty Silicone Products, Inc. as a research assistant and engineering intern, respectively. Elise's work experience also includes a role as a Surveying Technician at Land Surveying Services, where they created maps of surveyed land and ensured compliance with regulations. Elise also worked as a Work Study Student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Currently, Elise is a Mechanical Engineer 2 at DAPR Engineering, LLC.

Elise Michell obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Elise attended the university from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their General Education at Masuk High School, where they studied from 2011 to 2015.
