Samad Khan

Samad Khan has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources and talent acquisition. Samad started their career as an HR Service Delivery Specialist and Compensation and Benefits specialist at HRS Global, where they provided end-to-end HR and payroll services to clients. Samad also worked as a Senior Recruitment Specialist in the Executive Search Division at HRS Global, responsible for acquiring top talent for senior leadership positions.

Later, Samad joined ICI Pakistan Limited as an Assistant Manager in the Human Resources department. Samad contributed to the development of recruitment and selection processes and conducted interviews and assessments to meet the organization's manpower needs.

Afterwards, Samad worked as a Human Resources Business Partner at Reon Energy Limited, where they provided coaching to leadership, conducted talent management and development activities, and designed talent acquisition strategies.

Currently, Samad is working at Daraz as the Head of Talent Acquisition. Samad'sresponsibilities include enhancing the full lifecycle talent acquisition strategy, partnering with HRBPs and leadership to understand business needs, and developing effective recruiting strategies.

Throughout their career, Samad has demonstrated a strong understanding of HR metrics, insight-based decision-making, and consistent recruitment and hiring practices, all aimed at supporting a positive candidate experience and driving organizational productivity.

Samad Khan completed their education with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Dundee in 2013. Prior to that, they attended Hamdard University Pakistan from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Samad also obtained a certification in "Human Resources: Handling Workplace Bullying" from Lynda.com in May 2018.
