Jason Neal

Jason Neal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the mining and finance sectors. Currently serving as a Founding Partner at Whetstone Resources Inc. since February 2022, Jason is also a Board Member and Lead Independent Director at G Mining Ventures Corp. Since December 2020 and an Independent Director at Deterra Royalties since November 2022. Prior to these roles, Jason held the position of Executive Vice President at Kirkland Lake Gold from March 2021 to February 2022 and was President & CEO of TMAC Resources Inc. from February 2018 to February 2021. Jason's career began at BMO Capital Markets, where a tenure from January 1997 to February 2018 included serving as Global Co-Head of the Metals & Mining Group. Jason holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Simon Fraser University, obtained between 1991 and 1996.
