Kori Bowling

Kori Bowling, CPA, MAcc has a diverse background in accounting and business. Kori currently works as an Accounting Success Manager at Docyt, where they started in February 2023. Prior to that, Kori worked at Botkeeper as a Growth Partner (CSM) Team Lead for the Middle Market Segment from March to October 2022, and as a Growth Partner (CSM) from March 2021 to March 2022.

Before their time at Botkeeper, Kori gained valuable experience at LBMC as a Senior Accountant in Audit and Advisory Services from June 2017 to March 2021. Kori also worked as a Staff Accountant in the same department from November 2015 to June 2017.

Kori began their professional career as an intern at TVA in January 2015, where they contributed to the design, development, and implementation of performance analysis processes. Kori also interned at Unum, focusing on internal controls for IT systems, from December 2013 to January 2015.

In addition to their accounting experience, Kori had the opportunity to intern at the City of Chattanooga in 2014, collaborating with the Department of Transportation on the Complete Streets Initiative. Kori also worked as an Accounting Assistant at Jeffan International from August to December 2013 and held positions at Target as an Assistant Manager from November 2012 to September 2013 and as a Sales Floor Associate from May 2011 to November 2012.

Throughout their career, Kori has demonstrated strong analytical skills, a commitment to professional development, and the ability to work effectively in a variety of settings.

Kori Bowling, CPA, MAcc, obtained a Master's degree in Accounting from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2020. Prior to that, Kori earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the same university between 2011 and 2016. Kori also attended the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation in 2015, where they pursued studies related to the Inaugural Criminal Justice Academy. Kori's educational journey began at the Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences, where they obtained a high school diploma in 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Kori Bowling has obtained several certifications. They are Bill.com Certified, QuickBooks Certified, and hold a Xero Certificate, all obtained in March 2021. Furthermore, Kori is also a Certified Public Accountant, though the exact month and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
