Raul Iglesias has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Raul started their career as a Legal Assistant at The Law Office of Richard B. Johnson in 2010 and worked until 2012. After that, they transitioned to the fast-food industry and became a General Manager at McDonald's Corporation in 2002, where they worked for over a decade until 2013. Raul then moved to Yum! Brands and served as a General Manager from 2013 to 2014. Later, they joined Duke Energy Corporation in 2015 and held multiple roles such as Customer Service Specialist, Customer Service Team Lead, and Quality Assurance Analyst. Their responsibilities at Duke Energy expanded as they took on the positions of Smart Energy Specialist, Business Operations Analyst, Sr. Business Operations Analyst, Sr. Training Specialist, and most recently, Lead Business Analyst. Raul's tenure at Duke Energy began in 2018, and they continue to work there.

Raul Iglesias has a varied education history. In 1996, they pursued a degree in Business Administration and Management from U.T.U Montevideo, Uruguay, which they completed in 1997. Raul then enrolled at the same institution to study Accounting from 1997 to 1999. In 2005, Raul attended Gaston College and obtained their GED.

In addition to their formal education, Raul Iglesias also holds a certification as a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner, which they obtained from Prosci in May 2023.
