Hilary Simons, CPA

Hilary Simons, CPA, has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Hilary is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Eagle Foods, a middle market food company based in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, Hilary is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company.

Prior to joining Eagle Foods, Hilary worked at Home Market Foods for 13 years, from 2006 to 2019, where they also held the position of CFO. Their responsibilities at Home Market Foods included managing the finance and IT functions, establishing strategic goals, and maintaining key relationships with commercial and investment bankers.

Before their time at Home Market Foods, Hilary was the CFO of Fishery Products International, a public food manufacturing company, from 2003 to 2006. Hilary played a key role in decentralizing the US division of the company and preparing it for an IPO.

From 1999 to 2003, Hilary served as the CFO of BostonCoach Company, a private limousine service company. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting.

Hilary's career started at Campbell Soup Company in 1987, where they held various positions over a span of 12 years. Hilary served as a Business Unit Controller, Director of Finance, and Assistant Controller in different divisions of the company.

Throughout their career, Hilary has demonstrated strong leadership skills and successfully managed teams of finance and IT professionals. Hilary has presented to boards of directors and played a crucial role in the financial growth and stability of the organizations they have worked for.

Hilary Simons, CPA, holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting from Penn State University, which was obtained from 1981 to 1983. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies at Bryn Athyn College of the New Church from 1979 to 1981. Additionally, they have achieved the designation of Certified Public Accountant, obtained in September 1986, from the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
