Paul Sands has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Paul started their career in 2002 at Priceline.com, where they worked as a Director, Airlines & Product Development. Paul then joined Virgin Atlantic in 2003 and held multiple positions, including Head of Customer Experience, Marketing, General Manager for key markets, and Senior Product Manager. At Virgin Atlantic, they focused on enhancing customer experience and driving sales and distribution strategies.

In 2013, Paul Sands moved to Barclays as a Customer Experience Director, leading transformational projects. Paul later joined Bang & Olufsen in 2014 as the Director of Retail Development, Customer Experience, and Trade Marketing, responsible for network development, store design, and customer experience.

In 2017, Paul Sands worked as a CX and Marketing Consultant for Airsorted, improving their customer experience and achieving high Net Promoter Scores (NPS). Paul then joined Ecotricity in 2018 as the Chief Growth Officer, overseeing marketing, research, sales, and proposition development for both B2C and B2B sectors, leading a team of 150 individuals to achieve record-high commercial and brand engagement metrics.

Paul Sands completed their education at various institutions. Paul obtained a BA in English Literature from the University of York in 1992. Later, they pursued an MBA through distance learning at Durham University from 2001 to 2004. Additionally, Paul Sands completed a PhD in Airlines and the Environment at The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2006 to 2011.
