Bjørn Toft Madsen

Bjørn Toft Madsen has a wide range of work experience in various companies and positions. Bjørn has worked as the EVP Product, Global Education Platform at EF Education First, where they managed the development of the company's education technology platform. Bjørn also served on the TIGA Education Committee. At King, Bjørn was the Senior Technical Director, responsible for leading the Tech & Data Analytics teams and developing King's ad-stack and marketing tools. Bjørn also held a global leadership role in engineering quality, career models, and people development. As the Chief Technology Officer at Lionhead Studios, Bjørn led a large engineering team and was accountable for the overall technical direction of the studio. At Microsoft, they served as the Head of CRM, BI & Analytics, spearheading transformation projects across Xbox EMEA game studios. Bjørn has also worked at Rare Ltd, where they held multiple roles, including Studio Development Director and Software Director. Additionally, they have previous experience as a web developer, network programmer, and platoon commander in the military.

Bjørn Toft Madsen completed their Ascent Executive Training Program at INSEAD in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a BSc in Computer Games Technology from Abertay University between 2001 and 2004. In 1999 to 2001, they also obtained a BSc. equivalent (Danish AP degree) in Computer Science from Erhvervsakademi Aarhus | Business Academy Aarhus.
