Jennifer Chu-Carroll

Jennifer Chu-Carroll is a Research Fellow and Senior Research Scientist at Elemental Cognition since April 2015. Prior to that, Jennifer worked at IBM TJ Watson Research Center/IBM Watson Group as a Research Staff Member and Manager from January 2001 to March 2015. Jennifer also has experience as a Member of Technical Staff at Lucent Technologies Bell Laboratories from June 1996 to January 2001. Jennifer holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Delaware and a M Math in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. Jennifer played a significant role in the development of the Watson project and its commercialization, including its application in the medical domain.
