Kimberly Longerbone

Kimberly Longerbone has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Kimberly currently holds the position of Vice President, Information Technology at Empyrean, where they are responsible for IT infrastructure and the delivery of IT operations across the organization. Prior to that, Kimberly held the role of Assistant Vice President - Infrastructure, Security & Data Services at Equifax Workforce Solutions and Health e(fx). Kimberly has also served as the IT Director at Hennepin Healthcare, where they oversaw IT operations and implemented various technology solutions. Before that, Kimberly worked at UnitedHealth Group as an IT Director, where they spearheaded the development and implementation of the Office of the CIO Affordability Program, optimized investments in people, process, and technology, and managed non-operational functions for the IT Service Center. Kimberly also has experience working at IBM Global Services and Xcel Energy, where they held various management positions and led the development and support of IT applications. Throughout their career, Kimberly has received recognition for their contributions, including being awarded the CIO Magazine's "Ones to Watch" Award in 2018.

Kimberly Longerbone holds a Master of Science (MS) degree from St. Cloud State University, which they obtained from 1994 to 1996. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at the same institution from 1987 to 1992. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in 2019, ITIL® Intermediate certifications from PeopleCert in 2018 and 2016, Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) from International Association of Information Technology Asset Managers, Inc. in 2015, and several ITIL® Intermediate certifications from PEOPLECERT and EXIN between 2014 and 2010. Kimberly also holds a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from UnitedHealth Group - United Leadership Academy obtained in 2008.
