Shivangi Bhatia's work experience includes roles such as a Tutor in the Academic Success Program at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business. They also worked as a part of BCG Advance at Boston Consulting Group. Shivangi Bhatia participated in the 2023 Women's Possibilities Summit and the 2022 GS Summer Insight Series at Goldman Sachs, where they gained experience in investment banking, consulting, and marketing. They also served as a Business Analyst at Propel Business Club, where they worked on a project to raise awareness about nature preservation in Ann Arbor. Additionally, Shivangi Bhatia worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan Institute for Social Research and held the position of Marketing/IT Chair in the Michigan Economics Society. They were also a Project Lead for COGS Analysis and Sales Forecasting at Enactus. Other experiences include being an Academic Peer Advisor at the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts and being a part of the Recruitment Team and Social Media Committee for the Women in Science and Engineering Residence Program (WISE RP). They also worked as an Information Referral Assistant at the Office of New Student Program (ONSP) at the University of Michigan.

Shivangi Bhatia completed their Bachelor's degree in 2025 from the University of Michigan. Prior to that, they attended Delhi Public School - India from 2019 to 2021, where they studied Science and economics. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in C++ Programming Part A from Coursera Certified Courses and completed courses on Leading Teams: Influencing People. Shivangi also achieved district-level recognition as a Badminton and Chess player through Sports For All (SFA) and participated in the Inter School Hockey Competition twice while studying at Delhi Public School - India.
