Carine Dumit has held various roles throughout their work experience. Carine started their career as an Intern at Ameriprise Financial in 2005. Carine then joined the Office of Real Estate Planning & Development at The George Washington University as a Presidential Administrative Fellow, where they played a role in the development of the university's 20-year Master Plan. Carine later joined Booz Allen Hamilton, where they served as a Senior Consultant and Associate, specializing in Energy, Environment, and Infrastructure. Carine then transitioned to SolarCity, holding positions as Deputy Director and Director of Policy and Electricity Markets. In 2017, they joined Tesla as a Senior Policy Advisor, contributing to the company's policy initiatives. Currently, Carine Dumit is the Director of Market Development & Public Policy for the Eastern US at EVgo, where they engage with various stakeholders to advance transportation electrification.

Carine Dumit has completed executive education in sustainable finance and impact investment at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Carine holds a Master's degree in Engineering Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from the same university. Carine Dumit completed their International Baccalaureate at Washington International School.
