Amp Joel Staehling

Joel Staehling, AMP has accumulated extensive experience in the banking industry. Joel is currently serving as the MN Region President and COO Mortgage at First Western Bank & Trust since November 2020. Prior to this position, Joel held the role of President at BlackRidgeBANK from June 2006 to November 2020, where they oversaw an eleven-branch network of banks and managed mortgage operations. Joel also ran the Baxter Region of four banks. Before joining BlackRidgeBANK, Joel served as President at Community First National Bank from April 2003 to June 2006. Joel was also the Market President at Bank of the West from April 2005 to May 2006. Joel started their career as a Commercial Lender at Vermillion State Bank, and they held this role from January 1999 to April 2003.

Joel Staehling, AMP, has a strong educational background in finance and accounting. Joel obtained their MBA from St. Cloud State University - Herberger Business School, specializing in finance and accounting, from 1991 to 1993. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Augsburg University, earning a BS degree in finance from 1987 to 1991.

In addition to their formal education, Joel Staehling has also obtained the certification of AMP (Accredited Mortgage Professional) from the Mortgage Bankers Association in June 2018. This certification further solidifies their expertise and knowledge in the mortgage banking industry.
