Orla Jones

Orla Jones has a diverse work experience in the field of talent acquisition and recruitment. Orla currently holds the position of Head of Talent at Fonoa, a role they started in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at LinkedIn as the Director of Talent Acquisition, EMEA & LATAM from October 2021 to July 2022. Before joining LinkedIn, Orla served as the Director of Global Business Recruitment at Dropbox from April 2020 to October 2021, and as the Head of International Recruitment from October 2018 to April 2020. Orla also gained valuable experience at Google, where they held various roles including Staffing Manager, Dublin from September 2016 to August 2018, EMEA Lead Recruiter from June 2015 to September 2016, Associate Lead Recruiter, EMEA from September 2014 to May 2015, and EMEA Recruiter from October 2009 to August 2014. Orla began their career as a Recruitment Consultant at Hamilton James & Bruce from October 2008 to June 2009, and prior to that, they worked as a Recruitment Consultant at Brightwater from June 2004 to June 2008.

Orla Jones completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Commerce & HRM at the University of Galway from 2001 to 2003. Following that, they pursued a Master of Business Studies in HRM at the Smurfit Graduate School of Business from 2003 to 2004, specializing in Human Resources & Industrial Relations.
